An eco-friendly alternative to pipe replacement saves Home Owners Association time and money.

SAN DIEGO, CA, June 26, 2009 – The largest epoxy pipe lining project involving domestic drinking water systems in Southern California was completed in only 15 months by Nu Flow.
Over five hundred condominiums were completely relined while residents stayed in their homes with little disruption. The lining technology used permanently stops pinhole leaks and prevents lead from leaching into drinking water, a common problem many residents faced. Homeowners no longer worry about leaks, floods, or consuming contaminated water since the completion of the epoxy pipe lining.
Epoxy pipe lining is a non-invasive process that uses an epoxy barrier coating to line the inside walls of pipes. The lining restores pipes in host piping systems such as water, gas, petroleum and electrical service lines. This process can be used to restore pipes consisting of metal, iron, steel, plastic, concrete and fiberglass.
“Pinholes are so tiny that water leaks often go undetected for months or years,” advises Cameron Manners, Nu Flow CEO. “Frequently, a leak is discovered only after some event such as a flood or diagnosis of illness caused by mold exposure in the home. The longer a pipe leaks, the more damage water can do to a structures walls, ceilings, floors, and electrical and mechanical systems.” Water treatment has escalated the leak problem and now homeowners are forced to consider pipe
replacement in as few as 10 years from when a pipe system is put in place. Pipe lining is a costefficient and eco-friendly alternative to pipe replacement that is available to consumers.
